By day, your spare room may be just that – somewhere to lounge with a cup of coffee, a ‘dumping ground’ for everything that didn’t fit in the loft; maybe it’s even part home office/part guest room. So it makes sense not to take up all the space all the time with a huge bed. After all, how often do you have guests come and stay? Ordinarily, most of us have a visitor less than a handful of times a year, which means it isn’t wise to fill a room with a double bed that otherwise stands unused, gathering dust.

Instead, take a look at our chesterfield sofa beds. which look just like standard chesterfields but can be pulled out to reveal a handy bed.

Pictured above is our beautiful Buckingham sofa bed, which is seen here in our antiqued green leather finish. It’s also available in any one of our antique, premium or deluxe leathers, and is handcrafted like the rest of the chesterfield line with a beech frame and a seat support system of hand tied springs.

This sofa bed comes in three sizes, too – a two seat with a 100cm wide mattress, a three seat with a 120cm wide mattress and a three and a half seat with a 140cm wide mattress. The bed sits low to the ground so that when you pull the cushions off, it is the proper height for the fold out mattress and legs to balance the height of the sofa bed.
