Distinctive Chesterfields Has the X Factor!

Despite the already hectic run up to Christmas, our lads in our busy workshop here in Honley have been working even harder recently. Why? They’ve been getting some stunning Chesterfields ready in time for delivery at one very special property – the X Factor contestants’ house!

The show’s production team required not one but two gorgeous red leather Chesterfields in time for the show’s live finalists’ move-in date. But the X Factor sofas won’t be used by the contestants. Instead, the programme’s four famous judges – Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow – have been getting comfy on our couches during recent filming ahead of the first live show tonight (Saturday, October 12).

Look out for the sofas (pictured below in the X Factor house) on the show this weekend, when the judges will each be seen explaining all about the contestants’ song choices between performances.

We love how the X Factor team has taken this year’s interior trend of monochrome and incorporated it beautifully with our oriental red leather Chesterfields, which were made in just one week (normal production time is four weeks) ahead of their delivery in north London last weekend.

Our delivery man Greg spent an hour or two at the house last weekend, humping the sofas up the many stairs and carefully installing them in the stunning room (pictured below), all the while keeping his eyes peeled for any celebrity sightings.

Distinctive Chesterfields’ owner Clare Laidlaw is thrilled the team has been able to fulfill this very special order, with the workshop staff working overtime to get the sofas ready. She says: “It’s all very exciting and we can’t wait to see our sofas in the house. Our workshop team has worked doubly hard to get the sofas ready and we’re glad to hear the X Factor team are over the moon with them!”
