A Thank You from Make-a-Wish

Do you remember the sofa we listed via eBay late last year to raise much-needed funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® UK children’s charity? Said sofa featured on TV’s X Factor, was sat on and enjoyed by the show’s four judges – Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne – and was signed by the live finalists.

We then listed the beautiful oriental red Belchamp sofa (which was lovingly handcrafted by our talented workshop team) on eBay to raise cash for children suffering from life-threatening conditions.

Raising over £600, our sofa was then delivered to the winning eBayers – a family in Scotland. A month or so later we received this lovely letter from the charity as a thank you for donating to such a great cause.

The letter went on to state how the donation help desperately ill children enjoy a day to remember, and we’re thrilled we can help, even in such a small way.
