We’re Open for Business: Come and See Our London Showroom!

It’s been months – years, even – in the making, but our dream of opening a showroom in London has finally been realised. And as we fling open the doors to our brand new home in the capital – our second store and flagship premises – we’re hoping to find a moment to sit back and reflect on how far we’ve come.

We’ve been working hard here in Honley, Huddersfield for well over seven years. Creating beautiful chesterfield furniture by hand, we started life as a modest-size team comprising a much smaller set of staff than we have today.

Set up by husband and wife Steve and Clare Laidlaw, the company is going from strength to strength and it’s testament to each and every one of our employees and their continued hard work.

We can’t wait to meet you! Our new showroom – at 4-5 The Parade, St John’s Hill – will be open from 10am to 6pm today and we’re inviting you to come down, say hello and enjoy a glass of Prosecco with us. Distinctive Chesterfields’ owner Steve Laidlaw will be there, alongside our London showroom manager Gabriel Barbalata and international sales manager, Mark Denby. They’ll be on hand throughout the day to offer you any advice you’re looking for when it comes to finding your perfect sofa.

But do feel free to pop in to say hello, regardless of whether you’re looking to add a new piece of furniture to your home. We’ll have plenty of nibbles for you to enjoy and we’d be happy to talk you through some of our best-selling pieces.
