Valentine’s Day: Love-ly Crafts Ahead of February 14
Whether you’re not a fan of Valentine’s Day, or you’re an old romantic at heart, we’re bringing you some easy peasy crafty makes we spotted around the internet. They’re so simple, anyone can give them a go – even if you’re reluctantly celebrating February 14. It’s just a week until the big day, so make sure you get organised now by heading to the craft shop and getting everything you need to create one of these simple projects. Enjoy…
Floral Cones
We love these floral cone bouquets, we spotted via Martha Stewart’s website. The talented lady has put together this fun online tutorial for carnation cones. They’re so easy to make, too; simply print out the template provided onto heavyweight paper and cut out.
Pull-out Photo Album
Country Living shared this simple craft project on its website recently, and we love how ridiculously easy this is. You don’t need any real crafting skills to make this mini photo album, and as far as Valentine’s gifts go, it’s on the less soppy end of the scale.
Easy Art
Here’s another idea which doesn’t take much of a crafty eye to put together. It’s basically creative photography; no need to cram these cotton bobbins in a picture frame or anything like that. Instead, simply arrange them onto a large sheet of white paper, snap a photo, and add it to a gorgeous frame. This comes via this blog, via Decor8 and we love it!
